Medical Information Assistant

Location: Zagreb, HR

PrimeVigilance is continuing to expand and is looking for a Medical Information Assistant to join our dynamic and rapidly growing organization.

The role is ideal for a confident and enthusiastic individual who has an interest in or previous administrative experience, ideally in a Medical Information setting and who is looking to build on their knowledge and gain exposure in assisting in the growth of a medical information department in the service provider industry. Knowledge of pharmacovigilance is also an advantage.


Key Accountabilities
  • To perform administration activities;
  • To oversee the medical information email accounts;
  • To receive and return acknowledgment of medical information enquiries received by email;
  • To review medical information emails for legibility and missing information;
  • To perform duplicate checks in the MI database;
  • To enter medical information enquiries into the MI database;
  • To ensure that all medical information enquiries received into the medical information email accounts are forwarded to the appropriate individual(s);
  • To help maintain the library of reference safety information (e.g., CCDS, SmPCs, PI, etc.) within the Medical Information database;
  • To help maintain the library of Frequently Asked Questions and Standard Response Documents within the Medical Information database;
  • To perform reconciliations with business partners (data exchange);
  • To generate daily, weekly and monthly MI reports;
  • To organise meetings and teleconferences;
  • To assist the medical information team.
  • Conduct and track local language medical literature screening (as required)
  • Manage and track invoices for medical information services as required;
  • To forward all invoices to the finance department;
  • To assist with managing ad-hoc literature search requests as required;
  • To provide regular updates regarding medical information metrics as required;
  • To assist with the development and improvement of medical information processes and procedures;
  • To assist in departmental regulatory inspection preparedness for the company;
  • To undertake various administrative tasks (daily and monthly evidence of work, employee register etc.) as required.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Secondary education;
  • Proven administrative experience;
  • The role is ideal for a confident and enthusiastic individual;
  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance is an advantage.
